We are working exclusively with this lovely Hotel in Portsmouth to recruit a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management team and have 1 person reporting in to them. Main Objectives of the role of Finance Manager are: Daily Tasks: Check Bank Accounts and post transactions to Sage Check Emails Reconcile Actual Card Payments to Guestline Payments. Attend 10 @ 10 Meetings Weekly Tasks: Attend HOD Meeting - Produce Salary and Income Actual and Forecast Analysis Attend Revenue Meeting - Produce Forecast Income Analysis Monthly Tasks: Produce Management Accounts Update Fixed Asset Register Balance Sheet Reconcilation Pay Suppliers Annual Tasks: Produce Budget Produce Capital Expenditure Budget Monthly Reports Produced: Rooms Lead Times Outstanding Debtors Food and Beverage Income by Product Oversee Cashing up and Payroll functions Payroll would need to be processed by Finance Manager in absence of the finance assistant Cashing up is covered by Finance Manager when the finance assistant is off Finance Assistant posts the Supplier Invoices and Credit Notes Systems used: Sage Accounting and Payroll Microsoft Excel Reslynx/Guestline/Access Booking System Newbridge EPOS system Trust Payments/Omnipay for Card reconciliations Outlook for Email We receive a high number of applications on a daily basis so we can only respond to successful applications.
