JOB: Supply Chain Manager
LOCATION: Bournemouth
SALARY: £40,000 – £45,000 plus commission.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a lovely family run business in Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic and growing business, managing supplier relationships, pricing, service performance and the day-to-day effectiveness of the supply chain.
The key areas of the role of Supply Chain Manager are:
- -Managing and developing relationships with our extensive network of waste management suppliers
- -Negotiating supplier pricing and ensuring competitive buy rates are secured
- Reviewing supplier performance, service levels and availability
- -Supporting the Sales Team with pricing, quotations and tender opportunities
- -Working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure customer requirements can be delivered effectively
- -Identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, service quality and commercial margins
- -Monitoring supplier costs and supporting effective margin management
- -Managing supplier queries, resolving service issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up
- -Supporting the onboarding, review and ongoing management of suppliers
- -Maintaining accurate supplier and pricing information across company systems
- -Providing commercial and administrative support across the wider business where required
The role is predominantly office-based, with the Supply Chain Manager working from the office in Bournemouth.
