A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established and growing Residential Property team in Chesterfield. We are seeking a confident and technically capable Conveyancing Fee Earner who can manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the technical aspects of conveyancing and is confident reviewing titles, searches, contract documentation, and enquiries, whilst being supported by dedicated assistants who will undertake much of the administrative process.
The Role
- You will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Reviewing and interpreting searches
- Reviewing contract documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Reporting to clients on title and property matters
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and solicitors
- Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and proactively
- Identifying and resolving legal issues throughout the conveyancing process
- Maintaining exceptional levels of client care
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing residential conveyancing matters from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing purchase process
- Experience reviewing searches, contracts, titles, and enquiries
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- The ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
- A proactive and organised approach to work
