Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and attention to detail
- Install tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required
- Grout and seal tiles to ensure a waterproof and durable finish
- Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles as part of routine maintenance or specific repair tasks
- Conduct inspections to assess the condition of tiled surfaces and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Participate in the companys out-of-hours emergency repair rota as required
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Proven experience as a Tiler in a construction or repairs and maintenance setting
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurement and cutting
- Full UK driving license
