About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Rodger Lane, a warm and welcoming supported living service in Wrenthorpe. You’ll be supporting 6 individuals with complex needs and nonverbal communication, helping them lead fulfilling, meaningful lives—every single day. Your role will include:
- Supporting with daily living: personal care, mealtimes, and medication
- Encouraging fun and fulfilling activities—both at home and in the community
- Helping with cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, happy home
- Joining in on holidays and day trips (yes, you get paid to go on adventures!)
- Keeping care plans and notes up to date with compassion and professionalism
Shifts You Can Expect
We offer shifts on a rota, including:
- Short shifts: 7am–3pm, 2pm–10pm, or 5pm–10pm
- Long shifts: 7am–10pm
We’re a 24/7 service, supporting people 365 days a year—so no two days are ever the same. Driver preferred – we use two house vehicles daily for outings and appointments. Manual handling required – wheelchairs and hoisting are part of the role.
