Driver Support Worker

Sheffield Day Centre

Full time and Part time available

We are looking for people to join our friendly and welcoming team at Sheffield Day Centre, where you will have the opportunity to enhance people’s lives. We deliver creative, dynamic, and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people in a Day Centre.

Your role involves collecting and returning the people we support from the day service to their homes, supporting community activities, assisting service users with personal care, and performing other duties as requested by the service manager.

Knowledge / Experience:

Hold a current, clean, and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PSV licence; D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997) considered. Must have been driving for at least 5 years.
Ability to maintain accurate vehicle and user records.
Competent in undertaking daily and weekly vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

Shifts:
Working hours are typically between 8am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Infrequent evenings and weekends may be required for specific events.
Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
An enhanced adult DBS check is required for successful applicants.
