We support a diverse group of adults with Learning Disabilities within their own homes, to live an ordinary life with bespoke levels of support in and around various areas of Uphall and Livingston. Our Support Workers provide a person centred approach in providing quality support which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to each individual’s needs. We support people to enhance their quality of life at home and within their community.

Shifts Patterns

8am-3pm

9am – 3pm

3pm – 10pm

4pm – 8pm with flexibility on start and finish times

The role of a Support Worker is integral to the quality of support provision and can be rewarding and inspiring. You will support people to identify and work towards meaningful outcomes, to participate in their community and develop new and maintain existing relationships.

You will be working in the person’s own home ensuring opportunities to reach their full potential are available. Support needs can range from: enabling a person to participate in their personal care, medication, emotional support, daily living activities, social support and sleepover cover. There will be recording and reporting daily as well as a requirement to follow support plans and risk assessments. You may be required to liaise with medical professionals as needed.

Hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the people we support including evenings and weekends .You will work as part of a team and independently; using your own initiative whilst ensuring the needs of the person you are supporting, are met.

Drivers preferred due to service mobility cars.
