Male Support Worker

Covering – NE5

Drivers preffered

Full time – 39 hours per week

Salary – £12.21 per hour

Variety of shifts available, 8am-6pm, 9.30am- 9.30am Sleep overs

Do you pride yourself on having a caring nature and want a fulfilling role supporting people, then come work with us. You will be supporting two active gentleman within our Supported living setting, taking them out in the community to local Zumba classes or walking in the National Trust Parks.

As a support worker you will assist people with daily living tasks which may include, domestic services, social support and help with finances, personal care, support with medication and meal preparation.

We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties on a 1.1 basis.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently going through a period of growth, and we are continuing to search for permanent contracted Support Workers who really want to make an impact on the lives of the people we support.

The role

Across all services, the individuals we support have autism, learning disabilities and at times can display challenging behaviour, therefore you must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to ensure a consistent approach.

Permanent Contracted hours: Full Time

Previous experience is essential with PEG full training will also be provided.

Driving is desirable.

An enhanced Adult and Child DBS is required for this role.
