About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Shields.

In this role you will provide compassionate support, working with a dynamic, dedicated team, offering flexibility while making a significant impact on people’s lives.

The role requires resilience, an open mind, and a non-judgmental approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tending to all aspects of daily living, including personal care.
  • Domestic household support (cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home).
  • Support with budgeting and finances.
  • Social support, helping to engage in community and social activities.
  • Family support, assisting families in maintaining relationships.
  • Medication support.
  • Liaison with health professionals and social care professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • In-house and out-of-house activities, including assisting with outings and inter
  • Various shift patterns including days, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep overs. Day shift 8am - 9pm.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
