We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Shields, where you will play a key role in providing compassionate support. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, dedicated team, offering flexibility while making a significant impact on people's lives.
The Role
- Providing support to a gentleman within his own home, duties will include:
- Tending to all aspects of daily living, including personal care
- Domestic Household Support (cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home)
- Support with budgeting and finances
- Social Support, helping to engage in community and social activities
- Family Support, assisting families in maintaining relationships
- Medication Support
- Liaison with Health Professionals and Social Care Professionals to ensure holistic care
- In-house and out-of-house activities, including assisting with outings and interests
