Hours: 18 per week

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Shields, where you will play a key role in providing compassionate support. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, dedicated team, offering flexibility while making a significant impact on people's lives.

The Role

  • Providing support to a gentleman within his own home, duties will include:
  • Tending to all aspects of daily living, including personal care
  • Domestic Household Support (cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home)
  • Support with budgeting and finances
  • Social Support, helping to engage in community and social activities
  • Family Support, assisting families in maintaining relationships
  • Medication Support
  • Liaison with Health Professionals and Social Care Professionals to ensure holistic care
  • In-house and out-of-house activities, including assisting with outings and interests
  • Various shift patterns including days, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep overs. Day shift 8am - 9pm
