Our Support Workers provide a person-centred approach in providing quality support, which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to everyone’s needs. The role of a Support Worker is integral to the quality of support provision and can be rewarding and inspiring. You will support people to identify and work towards meaningful outcomes, participate in their community, and develop or maintain relationships.

You will offer care and support to adults with learning disabilities to ensure the smooth running of their home, health, and wellbeing. This includes personal care, medication administration, housework, shopping, cooking, and maintaining or developing each person’s independent skills. Social support will be provided daily and weekly to promote involvement and independence within their community. Support plans and risk assessments are in place to ensure accurate ongoing support.

You will liaise with medical professionals as required.

You may be asked to work across other services we provide care and support to in West Lothian.

An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role.

Shift Pattern:

Shifts are 8, 9, 10, 11 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 9:30 pm

Waking nights shift 9:30 pm – 8:00 am
