Salary: £12.21 per hour. Immediate interviews available. We are looking for people to join our small, friendly and welcoming team in Bidford-on-Avon, where you will have the opportunity to enhance people’s lives. We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living. You will be supporting 4 people with learning disabilities in their own home, helping them to be empowered in making their own decisions and choices about their everyday lives, in a person-centred way.

Responsibilities

  • Support 4 people with learning disabilities in their own home, enabling person-centred decisions about daily living.
  • Assist with choosing, preparing and cooking meals.
  • Provide personal care and support with medication administration as required.
  • Offer budgeting guidance and assist with domestic tasks.
  • Support finding new interests and social activities, including outings and using public transport.
  • Assist with holidays, food shopping, and liaising with families and professionals (GPs, dentists, opticians).
  • Collaborate with the team to empower individuals and support their choices about everyday life.

Flexible employment opportunities include days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers. Use of your own vehicle is advantageous but not essential as we encourage the people we support to use public transport. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is desirable; full training will be provided.
  • Enhanced adult DBS is required for this role.
  • Availability across days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers; driving is an asset but not essential.
