Male Support Worker – Elsdon Mews, South Shields
Hours: 39 per week • Rate: £12.50 per hour • Driver with a full UK manual driving license required
Real Life Options is a registered charity currently growing, seeking Support Workers who want to make a positive impact on the lives of the people we support.
About the role
At Elsdon Mews we support 6 adults with learning disabilities in their own home, providing the necessary support for them to live an independent and full life.
You will assist people with daily living tasks which may include domestic services, social support, personal care, support with medication and meal preparation. We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services offering individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties and individual tenancies. You must be able to follow detailed support plans to enable the people we support. Previous experience is required. A DBS check will be required for this role. A full UK driving license is essential.
Shift patterns
A typical shift is between 8am and 9pm. All shifts are 13 hours. This role may include shift work (days, evenings, sleepovers, nights and weekends). Sleepovers will include an allowance.
