What You’ll Do

The post holder will work as a member of the Finance team with responsibility for accurate monthly and weekly invoicing to local authorities, NHS and private customers, and for resolving any billing queries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve inbox queries from service managers, local authorities, and families
  • Create bespoke weekly sheets to meet service requirements
  • Liaise with local authorities/service managers/team coordinators to obtain the correct information needed to invoice
  • Raise support invoices from weekly operations sheets
  • Query unusual items or significant changes with service managers
  • Add notes in NetSuite for upcoming changes
  • Populate and return local authority schedules/portals in a timely manner
  • Ad‑hoc billing from reports, including mileage
  • Invoicing credit card and supplier invoice recharges
  • Work to pre‑determined month‑end deadlines
  • Run and distribute month‑end income reports
  • Set up and close customer accounts in NetSuite
  • Update fees annually for uplifts

  • Participate in team meetings
  • Take part in departmental continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to organisational policies, procedures and work practices at all times

Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience working in a Finance Team environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Social care finance experience preferred
  • NetSuite experience desirable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude
