About the Role
We\’re currently recruiting a Female Waking Nights Support Worker for our respite short-break service on Bisley Drive, South Shields. The service supports adults with learning disabilities in a warm, welcoming 7-bedroom home environment. You\’ll provide overnight support, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of our guests. Every night is different, and you\’ll play a key role in supporting a variety of needs, helping individuals feel secure and cared for.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care and emotional reassurance
- Supporting with medication, routines, and health-related tasks
- Light domestic duties and maintaining a calm night-time environment
- Responding promptly and professionally to any needs during the night
- Communicating effectively with families and professionals
- Promoting independence and dignity in everything you do
Staffing levels vary depending on individual needs of guests each night.
