Our Skipton service is a lively supported living service with lots going on. We support 3 lovely ladies who like to go swimming, to musicals, and do arts and crafts. All the ladies have active lifestyles, so we are looking for active individuals to support them.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently experiencing growth, and we are continuing to seek permanent contracted Support Workers who want to make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.

The role

Across all services, we support individuals with learning disabilities who may need help promoting independence and community participation. You must be able to follow detailed support plans to ensure a consistent approach and meet individuals\’ needs.

You will work alongside an established and experienced team to support 3 ladies to live as independently as possible. Support includes enabling social activities, attending the gym, discos, social events, and medical appointments, as well as household chores, shopping, and medication management.

Shifts

We require relief staff to cover various shifts. This is a 24-hour service, so shifts may include days, evenings, sleepovers, and nights, across the week and weekends.

Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. An enhanced DBS check for working with adults is required.
