About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Independent Consultant to work with a client delivering meaningful change across their CRM function. This is a hands-on advisory / implementation role for someone who can operate independently, build credibility quickly, and guide senior stakeholders through complex decisions. The majority of the work is remote, with one onsite visit per month to the client's site in northern England. Location can be flexible as long as you can travel once per month.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance across retail CRM strategy and marketing.
- Work with Project Leader to implement the agreed strategy across agreed deadlines.
- Work directly with senior leadership to shape and challenge strategic direction.
- Translate business needs into practical, actionable recommendations.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Qualifications
- A track record as an Independent Consultant, ideally with experience spanning Retail, CRM, and marketing.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence and composure to have difficult conversations with C-suite stakeholders in a measured, constructive way.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own delivery.
- Based within commutable distance of Northern England, with availability for monthly onsite work.
Pay range and compensation package
Rate: Negotiable
