We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dental nurse who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
The Role
As a Dental Nurse at Levenmouth Dental Spa, you will work closely with our dentists and wider clinical team to ensure the smooth running of our surgeries and provide a high standard of care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing effective chairside assistance to dentists and clinicians.
- Preparing surgeries and equipment before and between patients.
- Supporting clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Providing a friendly and reassuring experience for patients.
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
- Following practice policies and relevant clinical procedures.
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in accordance with current guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate and appropriate patient records.
- Preparing materials and equipment required for treatment.
- Ensuring surgeries are clean, tidy and appropriately stocked.
- Supporting the wider dental team with the smooth running of the practice.
- Maintaining professional standards in accordance with GDC requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Experienced in a general dental practice environment.
- Reliable, organised and professional.
- Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
- Confident working independently as well as part of a team.
- Patient-focused and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
- Calm and professional in a busy clinical environment.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cross-infection control and clinical practice.
Previous experience in a busy dental practice would be advantageous.
