About the Practice
We are a friendly, established NHS dental practice with over 12 years of experience and a large, loyal patient base. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and approachable Dental Receptionist to join our small, busy team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent patient care and helping a dental practice run smoothly. Previous dental reception experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answering telephone calls, responding to enquiries and booking appointments.
- Using a computer, email and Software of Excellence (EXACT) dental practice software.
- Processing patient payments accurately.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Managing the appointment book efficiently.
- Carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day running of the practice.

- Is organised, reliable and able to manage their workload effectively.
- Can use their own initiative and work independently when required.
