A superb opportunity for a Senior Surveyor/Associate Commercial Property Manager to move client side into an exciting Associate level role within a market-leading real estate investment and fund management business. Our client owns and manages an extensive UK portfolio of modern, strategically located logistics and commercial assets, forming part of a £multi-billion platform with long-term institutional backing. Following a major merger and subsequent portfolio expansion, they are seeking a dynamic, hands-on professional to take ownership of a group of prime assets within their logistics and industrial holdings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate managing agents on all property management activities
  • Conduct regular property inspections and tenant meetings
  • Approve and review service charge budgets and monitor expenditure
  • Drive estate-wide initiatives in collaboration with managing agents and working closely with occupiers
  • Review and approve tenant alteration requests and ensure compliance
  • Monitor rent collection and arrears processes
  • Coordinate insurance administration and reporting
  • Support ESG initiatives and compliance reporting (e.g. EPCs, GRESB submissions)
  • Work closely with the development team to ‘on-board’ new developments into active management, ensuring smooth handover and integration into portfolio systems
  • Provide concise, accurate reporting to the internal asset management team.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in commercial property management, ideally within a leading consultancy or fund/REIT environment
  • Solid understanding of landlord & tenant legislation and best practice
  • Experience working with development teams to transition newly completed schemes into active management is advantageous
  • MRICS qualification preferred (but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills with a proactive, systematic approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A team player with a “can-do” attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
