Main Purpose Of Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor — ideally someone with Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner-level experience — to join our close-knit and supportive HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of HR support for specific teams within the business, acting as a trusted partner on all people matters. You\\\’ll be involved in a wide range of HR activities including employee relations casework, performance management, recruitment, and payroll. The role is fast-paced and varied, so we\\\’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working collaboratively onsite. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated HR contact for designated business areas, providing expert advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead and manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters.
- Support managers with recruitment and onboarding, including job descriptions, advertising, interviews, and offers.
- Administer monthly payroll and liaise with finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to the development of recognition and wellbeing programmes.
- Support performance management processes, including appraisals and goal setting.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and problem solver.
- Support the HR Manager with project work, including HR initiatives and change programmes.
- Assist with HR data analytics and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Occasional travel to visit remote sales and technician teams as required.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in a Senior HR or HRBP level role, with a dedication to keeping up to date with best HR practices and legislation
- People centric with excellent communication skills
- Strong decision making skills, with the ability to work on multiple complex projects and provide clear and knowledgeable advice
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full UK driving licence to travel between sites as required
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
