Overview

Senior Medical Graphic Designer - Healthcare Agency role at Real Chemistry. Real Chemistry is a global agency providing healthcare communications and marketing services to pharmaceutical and biotech clients. We seek a publications designer who is highly skilled at design and data visualization, with a passion for science and medical innovation. The focus is to grow our scientific publications offering and create impactful visual content that supports scientific communications.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually engaging graphics and data visualizations for scientific communications and medical education materials across digital and print channels, including scientific publications, presentations, and posters.
  • Answer and provide solutions to creative briefs, delivering projects on time.
  • Collaborate with creative, art, copywriting, and medical writers to translate client requirements into design options.
  • Work well in a team structure and provide input on design strategy based on client requirements, objectives, budget, and background information.
  • Present design solutions to the art director/creative director for final approval and presentation to clients.
  • Partner with account managers and other designers to maintain high-quality creative work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or closely related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
  • Experience in a MedComms/Healthcare Communications agency.
  • Experience in design of graphics for scientific publications.
  • Intellectual curiosity about science and comfort with scientific ideas.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of integrating design into Microsoft PowerPoint.
