Real Chemistry is seeking a Head of Digital & Omnichannel Activation (UK) to lead and expand our integrated activation offering across the UK and key global markets. This role serves as the UK Practice Lead for Digital & Omnichannel Activation, responsible for driving growth, shaping our market positioning, and advancing how healthcare brands connect with audiences across social, digital, and omnichannel ecosystems. This is a senior leadership role sitting at the intersection of social, digital experience, media, and medical communications—ensuring our work is culturally relevant, commercially impactful, and grounded in scientific and regulatory rigor. This is a hybrid role based out of our London office in the UK.
The Opportunity
This is a build-and-grow leadership role—evolving our UK Activation capability beyond social into a fully integrated, omnichannel offering. You will:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary activation practice spanning social, digital, influencer, and omnichannel strategy
- Partner across Medical Communications, Integrated Comms, Media, and Creative to deliver connected solutions
- Drive new business, client expansion, and market visibility in the UK
- Help shape and scale Real Chemistry’s global activation model
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve the UK Digital & Omnichannel Activation practice, expanding beyond social into a fully integrated capability
- Drive revenue growth through new business, organic expansion, and cross-sell of broader digital and activation offerings
- Define and bring to market a clear activation POV aligned to where healthcare engagement is heading (AI, influence, omnichannel, etc.)
- Act as a senior external voice across clients, industry events, and thought leadership
- Lead the development of end-to-end omnichannel strategies connecting social, digital, media, and content ecosystems
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Commercial, Corporate Affairs, and Medical Affairs
- Ensure all programs balance creativity, cultural relevance, and compliance
- Translate complex science and data into compelling, audience-first engagement strategies
- Partner closely with Med Comms to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance are embedded across activation
- Identify opportunities to better activate medical content across digital channels (HCP engagement, congress, publications)
- Bridge strategy between medical and commercial teams, ensuring seamless execution
- Collaborate with global teams to scale UK-led innovation across markets
- Integrate across Media, Analytics, Influencer, and Creative to deliver connected, measurable programs
- Contribute to the evolution of Real Chemistry’s Activation model and integrated operating approach
- Build and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team
- Develop senior talent and future leaders within Activation
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
What You Bring
- Significant experience across digital, social, and omnichannel strategy within healthcare/pharma
- Strong grounding in Medical Communications / Medical Affairs environments and UK/EU regulatory frameworks (ABPI, MHRA, GDPR)
- Proven ability to build and scale capabilities or practices, not just manage accounts
- Track record of driving commercial growth and new business success
- Experience leading integrated, cross-functional teams (social, media, med comms, analytics, creative)
- Ability to operate at both strategic and commercial levels with senior clients
- Strong presence as a thought leader and market-facing leader

Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities. We call this our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach.
