Key Responsibilities

  • Co‐lead development of high‐quality medical content across multiple therapy areas to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Provide strategic input to aligned accounts.
  • Question client briefs to distill for Real Chemistry teams.
  • Scientifically challenge and elevate outputs with clients and internal teams.
  • Co‐lead implementation of AI into new projects and initiatives under senior direction within an account.
  • Act as day‐to‐day medical contact for clients.
  • Manage and mentor junior individuals and teams to deliver high‐quality work under pressure.
  • Guarantee accuracy and quality of assets delivered in line with client objectives.
  • Delegate work to ensure billable targets and learning opportunities.
  • Oversee project expertise and versatility across deliverables.
  • Uphold highest standards within accounts.
  • Advocate best practices in project management to maintain quality.
  • Lead development of knowledge training for junior members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience of medical writing at an SMW level or above.
  • Experience managing medical writers and interacting regularly with clients.
  • Profound understanding of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • High level of academic achievement.
  • Personable, articulate, and capable of nurturing relationships.
