You will manage the execution of parallel ongoing projects and coach junior team members, ensuring projects are delivered effectively alongside the account lead.

What you’ll do

  • Own medium-sized client projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standards within budget and agreed timeframes.
  • Understand client needs and preferences, reflecting them in interactions and deliverables.
  • Develop written content (briefing documents) and review junior team members’ work to ensure accuracy and high quality ahead of senior review.
  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively share new ideas with the team and client.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by researching and presenting to pitch teams, and facilitating brainstorms or pitches as needed.

Team management

  • Support the professional development of junior team members through regular check-ins and coaching.
  • Develop coaching, delegation and briefing skills; lead by example to upskill and inspire junior staff.
  • Assist with account finances, including Salesforce opportunities, invoicing and forecasting.
  • Develop accurate budgets, monitor project budgets, and flag out-of-scope work and additional budget needs.
  • Contribute to resourcing by sharing project requirements with account/medical writer leads.
  • Complete timesheets and expense claims accurately; participate in reviewing timesheets across projects.
  • Engage in internal initiatives that contribute to culture and development of the Medical Communications team and Real Chemistry more broadly.
  • Stay informed about developments in the medical communications and pharma industries; reflect insights in work and share ideas with teams.

This position is a perfect fit for you if:

  • Values: Best Together, Impact-Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always and Accountability with an “I”.
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to adjust scope and responsibilities as the company grows.
  • Proactive, driven, resourceful with strong prioritisation skills and a data mindset.
