We are a family run friendly company, looking for energetic, enthusiastic, caring people who would like to make a positive difference to someone`s life. As a Care Worker/Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will be expected to work in the community to assist service user(s) with medication requirements, washing/bathing, dressing/undressing, support getting in and out of bed, help with meal preparation, social support, shopping, befriending, respite and housework as required. These domestic and personal care tasks will be undertaken in the client(s) home(s).
***PLEASE NOTE – ALL work will be in the East Kilbride area. Due to the nature of the shifts this position would suit someone who is local to East Kilbride and preferably drives and has their own car. Car owner/driver a definite advantage due to the nature of the job – i.e. area covered.
Note – this is NOT Bank/Agency work – this is a permanent employment position (following successful completion of Probationary period)

Weekend/Evening workers welcome – this job provides a good opportunity for Health and Social Care/Nursing students to fit in around study time and provide valuable work experience.
Previous experience of caring for others in a personal, professional or voluntary capacity is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a PVG Disclosure Police check before starting employment.
