Location: On site Hours of employment: 08:30 to 16:50, Monday to Friday Description of the role: Our Maintenance Engineer will maintain, repair, and install equipment such as tanks, agitators, pumps, gearboxes, GEMÜ valves, and water systems (RO, distilled, ozonated).
The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, pipefitting for stainless steel and plastic piping, and supporting plant modifications and upgrades.
The Engineer will ensure high housekeeping standards and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
A background in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial process environments is essential, along with strong fault-finding and pipefitting skills.
The ability to work both independently and as a team player in a safety-critical environment is key.
Required qualifications include an NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and install: Tanks, agitators, and mixing equipment / Pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems / GEMÜ valves and electric/pneumatic actuators / Water systems: Reverse Osmosis (RO), distilled, and ozonated water.
Perform pipefitting for stainless steel and plastic process piping (glued, welded, or threaded).
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults (3-phase and single-phase).
