Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated and experienced Operators to support our operations. Based in the South, opportunities are available for zero hours personnel.
The role:
- Ensure the safe operation of OTP/ Mobile Plant in line with current rules and standards
- Operate plant you have competence for and authorisation to use, under supervision and correctly use plant for its intended use
- Carry out your undertaking professionally and politely, whilst utilising communication devices to enhance safety
Requirements:
- All Operators are required to comply with Network Rail pre-employment checks, which are as follows:
- Identity verification
- UK right to work check
- Employment references (past 3 years). Must be able to provide information for any gaps in employment history of 3 months or more
- CPCS or an equivalent Nationally recognised competence should be maintained
- Good knowledge and experience of the railway
- Acceptable standard of reading and writing (able to read lift plans, safety signage, correctly complete log books, etc.)
Contract Type:
- Zero hours
- Competitive rates
- Banded pay scale, dependent on machine and attachment competencies
- Shift bonus available, equating to an additional £5,000 per year
