Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for a motivated and experienced Fitter to support our workshop with services, inspections, modifications, and upgrades to our fleet. This is a full-time opportunity based in the South East.
The role includes:
- Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks in line with the equipment maintenance plans and services schedules.
- Carrying out repair works and planned inspections to determine whether plant and equipment is fit for purpose.
- Modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery.
- Completing maintenance records fully and in a timely manner.
- Assisting with depot workshop maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience in rail plant, agriculture or civils plant.
- Good understanding of English.
- Passionate, hardworking, and driven.
- A full, clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- PTS / Sentinel card.
- Level 2 in Plant Repair and Maintenance or similar.
- Credited Certification for LOLER.
