Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for a motivated and experienced Fitter to support our workshop with services, inspections, modifications, and upgrades to our fleet. This is a full-time opportunity based in the South East.

The role includes:

  • Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks in line with the equipment maintenance plans and services schedules.
  • Carrying out repair works and planned inspections to determine whether plant and equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery.
  • Completing maintenance records fully and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with depot workshop maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in rail plant, agriculture or civils plant.
  • Good understanding of English.
  • Passionate, hardworking, and driven.
  • A full, clean driving licence.

Desirable:

  • PTS / Sentinel card.
  • Level 2 in Plant Repair and Maintenance or similar.
  • Credited Certification for LOLER.
