Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated and experienced RRV Operators to support our operations department out on site. We have a growing work bank in the South. This is a zero hours opportunity based in Reading.

The Role

  • Ensure the safe operation of OTP/Mobile Plant in line with current rules and standards
  • Operate plant you have competence for and authorisation to use, under supervision and correctly use plant for its intended use
  • Carry out your role professionally and politely, whilst utilising communication devices to enhance safety
  • Represent Readypower in a positive light to help improve the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Valid and in date PTS (AC and DCCR)
  • Valid and in date OTP Core competency
  • Valid and in date OTP Machine Operator – Excavator and OTP Crane Operator – Excavator Crane competencies
  • CPCS or an equivalent Nationally recognised competence should be maintained
  • Good knowledge and experience of the railway
  • Passionate, hard working and driven
  • Have the right to work in the UK

Desirables

  • Valid OTP Operator attachment competencies
  • LUL BTA (London Underground Basic Track Awareness) ticket
  • DLR TA (Docklands Light Railway Track Awareness) ticket
  • Previous RRV Operator experience
