We are looking for individuals who share our passion for developing young people through personalised education counselling and support. With the UKEC’s education counselling, advice and support, we are confident in building up students for a rewarding international study experience to influence the nations and impact generations. For this role, we are looking for someone who is fluent in Mandarin as the role requires dealing with Mandarin-speaking students/parents. Key Responsibilities of the Education Advisor Providing education counselling and advice to students and parents for higher education placement. Attending to student enquiries in a prompt, personal & professional manner. Communicating and building positive relationships with students and parents. Participating in student-oriented activities such as education fairs, school workshops, and campus tours to engage students’ interest. Liaising with overseas universities and admissions to track students’ application progress, interview arrangements, and advocate on behalf of students. Managing and updating student records accurately. Assuming a mentoring role in our in-house BEAM internship training programme. Attending regular in-house training and university information sessions (may include overseas university and agent familiarisation trips) to keep abreast with the requirements for admissions & professional body accreditations. Person Requirements Great customer service skills with a desire to help teenagers and young adults navigate their education opportunities. Great interpersonal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to learn. Goal-oriented and resilient. Driven by success and excellence. Graduates with overseas study experience (UK/IRE/AUS/NZ). Previous experience in a customer service role.
