Reading Borough Council is seeking a Private Sector Housing Officer to lead a targeted project addressing damp and mould in the private rented sector.
You will collaborate with landlords, tenants and partner agencies to identify causes, implement solutions and improve living conditions for affected residents.
You will inspect properties, assess risks using HHSRS and enforce housing legislation, managing a diverse caseload and preparing legal documentation as required.
