About the Role
Shift work – starting at 5.30am – includes working some weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Drive the electric vehicle and pedestrian mechanical sweeping machines
- Carry out street cleansing duties using a range of equipment
- Maintain equipment in accordance with checklists
- Ensure assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Complete daily logs and reports as required
- Support the wider street cleansing team as needed
- Manually sweep and clear litter from public areas
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience of outdoor work in a demanding environment
- Experience driving tippers and other mechanical sweeping machinery
- Understanding of general vehicle maintenance
- Proven track record of reliable performance in similar duties
License Requirements
- Cat: B or C1 UK driving licence is essential.
