The Kennet Federation (Southcote and Katesgrove Primary Schools) is seeking a reliable and practical Casual Assistant Caretaker to support the smooth and safe running of our school sites. As a Casual Assistant Caretaker, you will provide ad-hoc cover to support day-to-day maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day facilities support, including general site maintenance.
- Carry out basic building maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
- Maintain a high standard of the school environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Qualifications & requirements
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and flexible with a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and a good level of spoken English.
- Willingness to undertake statutory Health & Safety training relevant to the role.
- Ability to travel and work across three sites within the Federation.
- Reliability and trustworthiness, with pride in work.
