We are seeking to appoint a Children Looked after and Pastoral Support Co-ordinator to support our team delivering pastoral care for students to secure high levels of achievement.
This post is student and parent facing within the pastoral management function and as such, the successful candidate will be a significant ambassador for the school.
Duties
- Supporting the Designated Teacher for Children Looked After (CLA) to ensure that CLA students are well-supported and related processes are completed effectively and on a timely basis.
- Working therapeutically with assigned students to support their wellbeing and readiness to learn.
- Promoting student welfare and providing pastoral guidance to students.
- Contributing to the overall management and development of high standards of achievement and attainment across the school.
- Organisation of transition meeting and visits
- Building relationships with families, including arranging and participating in discussions with families and external agencies.
