We are seeking an additional Property Operative to join our small but highly motivated Property Team, to provide general day to day maintenance across our buildings and facilities as well as skill-specific plumbing maintenance duties for the schools plumbing systems. The role involves undertaking planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, installations, and minor works across the school estate and supporting the wider Property Team in ensuring the effective operation of the schools estate.

Normal working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00 with a 30-minute (unpaid) meal break. The successful candidate will also provide second-line response to the live-in Property Operatives on a call out rota.

The successful candidate will be a qualified/accredited or highly experienced plumber and be able to demonstrate a good range of hands-on technical skills; be hard working and proactive with good attention to detail and be able to work without supervision when necessary. Although not essential, experience of working within an educational facility or similar environment would be desirable.
