We are looking for a passionate Renewable Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to creating more sustainable energy solutions.

Job Summary: As a Renewable Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing renewable energy systems. You will be responsible for creating innovative, efficient, and cost-effective designs for renewable energy projects. This role involves collaboration with project managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining high standards for sustainability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Development: Design and develop renewable energy systems, such as BESS, solar PV and hybrid power solutions. This includes both conceptual and detailed designs.
  • Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, including site assessments, energy yield assessments, and cost analysis for new projects.
  • Software and Simulation: Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, or similar) to model, simulate, and optimize system performance.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and reports for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management Support: Work with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Sustainability and Compliance: Ensure that designs meet environmental, safety, and regulatory standards and contribute to achieving the highest possible sustainability standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing the performance of existing renewable energy systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, civil, and structural engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the design are integrated and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy design or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and renewable energy software (e.g., PVSyst, Homer, WindPRO).
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with energy storage systems and hybrid energy solutions.
