Overview
Read Motor Group, a family-owned automotive dealership based in Worksop, is recruiting for two integral finance roles: a Management Accountant and a Financial Controller.
- Roles & Responsibilities
- Management Accountant
- Owns monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, stock reporting and departmental performance analysis across sales, service and parts.
- Financial Controller
- Oversees daily operations of the accounts and administration team, completes investigative tasks and projects, reviews internal processes, manages monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, implements financial controls, and drives operational and policy improvements.
Responsibilities include
- Lead and manage all financial operations of the dealership.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor and develop finance team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finance management within the automotive or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Fully qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA and demonstrable experience in a similar position.
Benefits & Compensation
Benefits include: company car, pension scheme and 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), with additional holiday days on length of service.
Working hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour unpaid lunch break.
