At Read Motor Group, every member of the team plays an essential role in shaping the customers' experience and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our established Aftersales department at Read Hyundai Lincoln.
Key Responsibilities:- Calling parts customers and booking in any customers.
- Ensuring customers are kept up to date.
- Explaining and educating customers on the follow-up process to encourage response levels.
- Preparation of next day's jobs ensuring all parts in stock and pre-picked/recalls checked/service plan quotes etc.
- Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly and cash handling procedure followed.
- Checking all courtesy vehicles on site are clean, fuelled and easily accessible ready for the next day.
- Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice.
- Creating and loading bookings onto electronic diary efficiently and monitoring this function.
- Filing of paperwork.
Our ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, meet deadlines and be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude. Strong IT skills are essential for the position and an ability to prioritise own workload. Strong customer-facing skills are an essential requirement for this position along with experience within a similar position. Full driving licence is essential for this position.
Benefits:- Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
