We are seeking a dedicated Sales Ledger Clerk to join our centralised accounts team in Grimsby. This role is vital in managing our financial transactions and supporting our company's commitment to excellent service.
Responsibilities- Manage accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions.
- Complete daily banking.
- Assist in month‑end closing procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service through phone and email communication.
- Ensure that accurate records are kept and updated daily.
- Any additional duties as required.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong data entry and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Previous experience in financial services or automotive dealership preferred.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
Hours of work are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with an hour lunch break.
Benefits- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with length of service.
