At Read Motor Group, every member of the team plays an essential role in shaping the customers' experience and we have a fantastic opportunity for an Aftersales Advisor to join our established Aftersales department at Read Hyundai in Boston.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Checking customers in/out.
- Upselling any VHC work reported and Service Plans.
- Calling parts customers and booking in any customers.
- Ensuring customers are kept up to date.
- Explaining and educating customers on the follow-up process to encourage response levels.
- Confident use of parts looking up and pricing.
- Good understanding of the parts department as a whole to assist aftersales department.
- Preparation of next day's jobs ensuring all parts in stock and pre-picked/recalls checked/service plan quotes etc.
- Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly and cash handling procedure followed.
- Checking all courtesy vehicles on site are clean, fuelled and easily accessible ready for the next day.
- Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice.
- Creating and loading bookings onto electronic diary efficiently and monitoring this function.
- Filing of paperwork.
- Effective communicator.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Meet deadlines and be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong IT skills are essential for the position.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Strong customer-facing skills are an essential requirement for this position.

- Full driving license is essential for this position.
Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Holiday allowance is 22 days which can rise up to 25 days per annum served, with the holiday year running from 1st January to 31st December.
