The job in a nutshell:
Essentially, your job will be to take full commercial responsibility for construction projects from award through to final account. You'll manage costs, subcontractors, valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts while working closely with Directors, Contracts Managers and Site Managers to ensure projects are delivered profitably. Don't worry though you'll have an experienced commercial team around you for support.
Should you apply?
We think Quantity Surveyors with experience working for a main contractor delivering building projects should apply. Whether you're currently an Intermediate, Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor, if you've managed project costs from start to finish and enjoy taking ownership of projects, you'll have a strong chance of success. Experience with NEC or JCT contracts and public sector projects would be advantageous but isn't essential.
