An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering projects across the Louth and Greater Dublin areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Supervisor or Time-Served Plumber who enjoys leading site teams, coordinating mechanical installations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
As Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors, maintaining quality standards and ensuring projects are delivered safely and on programme. You will also be involved in site planning, material coordination, testing and commissioning activities while acting as the key link between site operations and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works across multiple projects.
- Review drawings, blueprints and mechanical layouts using Procore software.
- Identify and raise technical issues during pre-start and project review meetings.
- Lead site operatives and apprentices to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered to programme.
- Carry out regular site inspections and maintain high-quality workmanship standards.
- Promote and enforce Health & Safety procedures across all site activities.
- Maintain accurate site records, documentation and reporting.
- Manage material requirements and liaise with procurement teams regarding deliveries.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities.
- Monitor RFIs, variations, delays and site issues through Procore.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures and quality standards are adhered to.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates to project management teams.
- Time-Served Plumber with strong mechanical installation experience.
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Site Supervisor, Foreman or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical building services installations.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and direct labour teams.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and site compliance.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Valid site safety certification.
- Flexibility to travel across project sites throughout Louth and Greater Dublin.
