The Job in a Nutshell: We're recruiting experienced Joiners / Carpenters for a well-established building contractor operating throughout Greater Belfast and Northern Ireland. Essentially, your job will be to carry out first-fix and second-fix joinery across residential, commercial and public sector properties. You'll be working on a variety of projects, including kitchen installations, door replacements, property refurbishments, planned maintenance and general repairs. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, but you'll also have other experienced tradespeople around you when required. Should You Apply? We think candidates with experience in joinery, carpentry, property maintenance, social housing or refurbishment should apply. Ideally, you'll have: NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery/Carpentry or a recognised time-served apprenticeship. Experience with first-fix and second-fix joinery. Experience fitting kitchens, doors, frames, skirting boards and other timber fixtures. A background in property refurbishment, maintenance or construction. The ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship. A full UK driving licence. A valid CSR card or willingness to obtain one, subject to company requirements. Experience working in occupied properties, social housing, disability adaptations or reactive maintenance would be particularly beneficial.
