Skilled Workshop Joiner Location: Northern Ireland Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Specialist Joinery / Fit-Out Pay: Competitive hourly rate The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Joiner to join a busy specialist joinery team, producing high-quality bespoke joinery for a range of fit-out projects. This is a hands-on workshop role working closely with design and production teams to ensure all products are manufactured accurately, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Interpret detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials Assemble, fit and finish bespoke joinery products Operate a range of woodworking tools and modern machinery Work closely with other joiners to meet production deadlines Carry out quality checks on completed work Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop Follow all Health & Safety procedures Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance on tools and equipment Requirements Minimum 5 years joinery experience, ideally within a workshop environment Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Joinery / Carpentry Strong background producing high-quality bespoke joinery Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings Good understanding of joinery techniques, materials and finishes Confident using a wide range of joinery tools and machinery Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Able to work independently and manage priorities Flexible and adaptable across different project requirements Whats on Offer Competitive hourly rate Permanent, full-time position Option of a 39-hour week over 5 days or compressed into 4 days 30 days annual leave Company pension BUPA Cashplan / Aviva Healthcare Death in Service benefit Planned Medical Leave Free on-site parking Career progression and development opportunities Access to modern workshop machinery and equipment Skills: Woodworking Woodwork Cabinetry Joinery Shop fitting Benefits: Flexitime Paid Holidays Parking Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care
