Registered Nurse Assessor Northern Ireland
Locations: Belfast + 9 sites across NI
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week, 7.5 hours/day
Salary: £39,500 starting + benefits + 100 CPD hours in first 3 months
Role: We are seeking qualified HCPs (Nurse, OT, Physio, MH Nurse, Paramedic) to conduct Working Capability Assessments for benefit claimants.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying a caseload of around 5 assessments per day
- Producing factual reports of approximately 500 words per assessment
- Using clinical expertise to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions affect working capabilities
- Providing clear, objective evidence to support decision-makers in determining eligibility
Requirements:
- 1+ year post-registration experience
- Professional registration (NMC- RGN, RMN, RNLD, HCPC- Paramedic, Physiotherapist, GMC)
- Strong IT, communication, and report-writing skills
