Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Accommodation & Subsistence

Location: Site Based Projects across NI, ROI & GB

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Industry: Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services

Three Reasons to Apply:

  • £50,000 - £60,000 salary with accommodation and subsistence covered when working away.
  • Join an established Belfast-based M&E contractor with a strong and growing project pipeline.
  • Take ownership of significant M&E projects with opportunities across NI, ROI, England and Scotland.

The job in a nutshell:

Essentially, your job will be to take responsibility for the successful delivery of M&E projects on site from commencement right through to completion and handover. You will coordinate the mechanical and electrical packages, manage labour and subcontractors, keep programmes on track, oversee quality and health & safety, and act as a key point of contact for clients and the wider project team. You don’t necessarily need to be equally strong across both disciplines; the company is happy to consider Project Managers from either a Mechanical or Electrical background, provided you have the experience and technical understanding to coordinate the wider M&E package.

Should you apply?

We think experienced M&E Project Managers, Mechanical Project Managers or Electrical Project Managers should apply.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical building services experience
  • Previous experience delivering projects through construction to handover
  • Experience managing labour, subcontractors and site programmes
  • Strong client-facing and leadership skills
  • Good understanding of drawings, specifications, RAMS and project documentation
  • Commercial awareness around project costs and variations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to work site-based across projects, particularly within the South of England and Scotland

After conversations with the hiring manager, candidates who have strong project delivery experience but are naturally stronger in one M&E discipline are absolutely worth considering.

Benefits for You:

  • £50,000 - £60,000 salary
  • Accommodation paid when working away
  • Subsistence payments for days working away
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Opportunity to manage significant M&E projects
  • Established and growing M&E contractor
  • Exposure to projects across NI, ROI and GB
  • Potential for progression as the business continues to grow
  • High level of responsibility and ownership over project delivery
