We're delighted to be partnering with an established Belfast accountancy practice to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join its payroll bureau team.

Benefits:

  • 33 days' annual leave, including public holidays
  • Employer pension contributions
  • 36.5-hour working week
  • 2pm finish on Fridays

The Role:

You will administer payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and employer reports are prepared and submitted accurately. You will support the Payroll Manager, respond to reporting requirements, liaise with internal and external contacts and assist across the firm when required.

The Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau
  • Working knowledge of payroll software
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and task-prioritisation skills
  • HSC Payroll experience is desirable

This opportunity would suit an experienced Payroll Assistant seeking a practice-based role with an early Friday finish and the opportunity to develop skills in bookkeeping and accounts.
