Role: Welding Operative

Location: Ballymena, County Antrim

Hours: Monday - Friday (6:00am - 3:00pm or 7:00am - 4:00pm). Variable 32-48 hours per week. Flexibility for overtime/Saturdays required.

Pay: £14.91

The Role: Performing production welding alongside regular preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, while adhering to strict health, safety, and general housekeeping protocols.

  • Experience: Proven basic welding experience and a solid background working within the manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Skills: Strong adaptability, a firm understanding of workplace Health & Safety, and the ability to comprehend written and spoken English.
  • Desirable Extras: MIG welding experience, ability to read technical/construction drawings, or a valid forklift/overhead crane licence.
  • Certifications: CSR card, First Aid, or Fire Warden training is highly advantageous.
