An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment supporting production machinery, PLC systems, and robotics across site.

This Technical Support Engineer role is ideal for someone with strong electrical fault-finding, PLC, and robotics experience who enjoys solving complex engineering problems and supporting maintenance teams within a fast-paced production environment.

The Role:
  • Carry out complex fault finding on production machinery and plant equipment
  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams across site
  • Diagnose faults using PLC systems, robotics, and laptop diagnostics
  • Modify and fault-find PLC programs
  • Carry out adjustments and optimisation on specialist equipment and robots
The Requirements:
  • Time-served Electrical or Mechatronic apprenticeship
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environments
  • Strong PLC fault-finding and programming experience
  • Experience working with robotics and automated machinery
  • Strong electrical fault-finding ability
